Was there tonight,,, had to get the heck out of there.. guy was picking up the lathe(new mac).. didn't want to watch it going down the street . Garage was an empty shell ,, Sad end to some of the finest craftsmanship in wood world ever . Mac shed his plug chains and is ready to put some serious fishing time in .. Said he tried it and will never do it again . I believe him 100%,,, got my last Mac plug tonight .. Who's gonna throw plugs with me this winter ..?

Mac - - as a plugmaker you will be sorely missed. I for one always looked for the postings with the latest plugs. ALSO as a fellow plugmaker I understand the reasoning behind your choice and commend you for the way you are going out. I have a few of your plugs that will now be hung on the wall and not fished in memory of one of the finest plugmakers. And also one of the most generous. See you on the sand.

Thanks for the 300 that you made for me. Some will never see the water. The ones with thje 'Jackson Pollack' paintjobs and some of the Atom 40's.....priceless.
We are not worthy. You are truly one of the best all time and a beautiful guy to boot.
I'll be in touch. Bob
