Out with the old, In with the new! The new Ave Maria
Well, the Ave Maria has served Capt. Mike well and it's caught TONS of large fish, but Capt. Mike decided it was time for something new!
Here's the "Ave maria 2 "
It's a brand new 29.8 Hydrasport Vector CC w/ twin 250hp Etecs !
We (Team Ave Maria) went down to New Jersey last sat for the sea trial and what a great riding boat !!!
@8000lbs dry weight, this boat will handle far worse conditions that will keep all other boats in it's size class at their docks !!!
And it's fast !!! We had it up to close to 60mph with 4 big guys on board !!!
You name the toy, this boat has it !!!
Outriggers, downriggers, 2 12in gps screens, 4k radar, auto pilot, sirius sterio cd, private stand up head (very easily accessible ) 2 fresh water sinks, 55 gal live well w/3800 gph pump & Lts, power windlass, shore power w/charger & 4 batteries, storage everywhere, seating everywhere !!!
It should be launched late next week, ( when Mike gets back from Las Vegas) and we will have it bloody that day from tuna !!!

Looks like an awesome boat, I suggest taking your biggest cod jig and throwing it against the side of the boat......just to get the pain of dinging up the new boat over with at the start..........

Fished the for the last time aboard (old) the Ave MAria
We (Capt Mike, Mike M, My son Leo & myself) went out for what was most likely the last trip on the Ave Maria today.
Was a bit cold & windy, but we found some live bait, trolled them and my son Leo got what was most likely the last keeper bass on the old boat!
New boat should be in the water this week!
