13 Yr. old does it again
We fish all day into awesome bluefish action, and guess who catches the biggest blue.
Beats out his dad (again) and flatts1.
he didn't beat out flatts bass though. (later).
He would kill me if I didn't post his PRIZE catch.

Agreed,, and as someone said in an earlier post,
"The force is strong this this one"
Of course he has had a good teacher (master).
i have some photos of him at like 3 yrs old holding up sunnnies at our fav lake. I may put a "fishing timeline" together for him. He would get a kick out of that..

Nice catch! The kid must had a ball with those Blues as we did also yesterday. Don't you just love it when the student outfishes the teacher. It's really fun to watch them as they gain their confidence. My daughter used to do the same to me but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Now I'm a grandpa and I'm looking forward to bringing the little guy out there in a couple more years.

Van,
Thanks again for taking me out. I had a blast!! I told my wife that it was the best day of my life and she said "HEY what about our wedding day or when our son was born?". So then I had to qualify it a bit as the "best saltwater fishing day" of my life.
New personal best striper = 42'' 23.5#
Also, that's a nice addition to Jim's "portfolio" and it was really cool watching both father and son setting hooks in sync.
Thanks Again,
Mike

The recovery you made when talking to your wife was faster than
any "Hook set" you did all day. Good Job, we should all learn from
your quick thinking.
Here's the pic of your bass.. Sweet fish, I should have said it was mine...

Wish I wasn't in the middle of a project, I would have loved to get out again today. Instead I lost a gallon of fluid working in the hot sun all day, rather have lost it fighting some blues again. Hey FW, thought the boat was done...lol...couldn't resist another shot at some action hmmmmm.
