Dragger of Marshfield MA.

Saturday there was a dragger maybe a mile or so off the Green Harbor Marshield /Duxbury beach area .

I'm not up on the regs,but this is a litttle close. What would itbe dragging for ?

draggers in ma state waters are supposed to be 3 miles offshore. I'm pretty sure clammers and scallopers are allowed inside the limit so my guess up there is they were scalloping. Duck in behind them next time - always a few good bass following the dredge picking off scraps and crushed shellfish.

Scallops or Sea clams...They have harvested all the clams off Nantasket to the point there are very few washed in after a storm these days....

I was thinking of clams washing up after this past weekends storm.
did they anywhere?

That is not true!! Tell the guys dragging off the Vineyard!! I called DMF and they said at least in the Vineyard, all they have to be is 100 Yards from the sure!

They keep pushing for Salt Water Lic!! But what they doing to protect the insure fishery??

Don't even get me started!!
