If Faulk's hands were not on backwards all night, it's a different game. i think that was on of the biggest factors. And the cushion the CBs were giving was way too big.
They still kept it close, maybe the HC NEP kept something up his sleeve for the playoffs.

Why would he do that, when the stakes are playing the AFC Championship in 15 degree weather on frozen turf that's horrible even on a 70 degree day (or maybe even in a blizzard), versus playing it indoors on a fast track that lets the Colts receivers run precise routes

That loss had huge implications for the play-offs. it caused a 3 game swing for home field through-out the play-offs.
if they won (and the play-offs started now) they would have had home field through-out the play-offs. Now because of the loss they are only guaranteed home-field in the 1st round.
They would need indy to lose 3 more games than them the rest of the season to get the home field and Denver to lose one more. They lose both of the tie-Breakers against those teams because they lost to them.
I agree, I don't think Bill held anything back....they just plain stunk up the joint on Sunday

What's his record indoors? Against the Colts indoors?
I'm not saying he threw the game only that not all hope is lost. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
