moral of this thread is.....fish at night
dogs, kids, surfers, googs, never see 'em except when Im heading home

but then again, there are the idiots with the lights......Oct of this year I was fishing at an outflow. I waded out into the water and this guy on shore starts shining his light on me, and then all over the water, back on me. I'm pretty mellow but I was ripped, I shouted "turn the f 'in light off and he did.

A Few of My Favorites

1. Guy who wants to chat it up....thats what waders are for....see ya... I came to fish not talk.

2. people and their dogs gutta sniff me, my bag, and dig into my bait if I`m carrying. Or swimming out after my cast to play catch....owner smiling

3. I once had a lady come up enter the water right next to me and lift my line up to go under and swim where I was casting to

4. kids jumping in right next to me and parents smiling on

5. getting hooked in waders or line snagged by some clown fishing on top of me because he saw me catch a fish or wants to be in the spot I was in long before he got there.

6. Someone who is there at the beach before I get there and sees me approach and start to fish then comes over and says any luck???? Yes....I had a brief moment alone before you came over with your dumbass question.

The scenarios are somewhat endless ...

1) We pull the boat up to a fishing spot, paddle in for more than 100 yards to ensure a quiet approach ... quietly set down an anchor and start to settle into the spot just as the tide starts to drop ... boat motors up to us and two googans say "catching anything?" with dopey smiles on ... my friend daniel barks back at them ... "we were until you came along" ...

2) I pull the boat into a cove on a cold and windy day, (not much action at the moment going on), to get out of the wind and try to warm up in the sun and eat lunch, two guys in another boat charge over because they think I am on fish ... only to realize they are big freakin dopes as I pull out my sandwich ...

3) Some guy runs his boat along the shoreline looking for breaking fish, only runs his boat within the casting area of the shoreline to kill the action for a good period of time ...

4) Some jack a** who continually and consecutively cuts me off on numerous shorelines that I am working with plugs, totally gets in my way as I am working down the coast - where's my gun ...

5) Some hack who sees me pull up to a reef that I am about to cast to, charges in at full throttle so close that I peg his hull with a jig to give him the warning shot ...

6) A small minded guide who cuts me off from breaking fish - I was there first -- so he can get his client onto them and puts them down ... fortunately his client realized he was a huge a**, and the only reason I did not jump into the guide's boat with my huge-a** buck knife ready for blood was because my 72-year old father would have been uncomfortable with me playing out the rules of the ocean ...

7) You take a buddy to a secret spot and continually find him there with others on consecutive casts ...

8) Jet skis ...

.... ooops, sorry, got carried away.

I don't know in the middle of the night fishing the MS Tourny carrying two good blues, guy asks if they are blues or stripers? What is he doing fishing in the middle of the night at this spot? I couldn't believe it. I don't have many peaves while fishing, I love it too much to get angry. Ok one more, drifting at the canal and someone comes walking down 40 ft to your side and starts casting and drifting.

I hate encountering drunk people while fishing.Even worse is when the
the drunk is fishing.

I love beer just not when fishing.

Letting Kids roam around Brant Rock and the sea wall unsupervised. This season tragically a young boy died when he fell off the sea wall and he was supervised. I don't get mad when kids run up to you while you're fishing because they just curious and want to learn but I don't understand why parents don't keep them at a safe distance. I guess they want to learn to. One thing I learned since being a parent is having patience, patience, and more patience.

Horses on the beach!! More specifically, horses directly in the beach trail. I mean phuck you got a WHOLE ph#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&' beach to let them things run on, stay the phuck outta the trail!!!! My kidneys can only take so much gettin' ph#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&' bounced around you ass clowns.

This is nothing against the horses really but the folks riding them, its an open beach, stay out of the tire tracks seriously folks. Again nothing against horses I love 'em and have had an Arabian and a t-bred ANd whenever we ran em on the beaches we ran them AROUND fishermen/women and stayed outta the track!!!!

Domination takes full concentration..

I hate grumpy fishermen

I hate the 17' lake boat out at the rips going full throttle back over his drift every time and wondering why he isn't catching.

I hate the people who put the brakes on the dog fish fishery years ago.

I hate the company Omega 3 Protien

Sorry a little off topic but they do screw up our fishing...

LANTERNS WTF WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Do you catch any fish here?" No I just like standing around watching my lure swim

Drunk Boaters

Disrespectful Foreigners !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They piss me off so freakin bad I would like to shoot them all. Notice I did not say all of them because I'm sure there are some nice ones. At one spot I fish there are two groups that constantly keep undersized fish and litter like its nobodies business. I had one guy ask if he could have a 18" fish that I caught.
