A wooden A40 type. I cast it into a rip, and on the retrieve , I love the way that type of plug swims, you can feel it. I've got plenty of big bass this year on that type of plug.

Something different, I took at least a dozen fish 20-30lbs from shore (moving water) with this during the first half of the season. Quit using it (so I can copy it) after that. It is a swimmer.

Swimmers
Since everyone's posting multiple plugs I figured I'd share my favorites. Here's my best swimmers and why I like them.
The tattoo diver and yellow r.m. smith danny were responsible for one of my best memories of 2006. I waded out (more aggressively than usual) onto what is now my favorite rock on BI and got into a blitz of keepers this past sept. I landed countless fish around keeper size on these plugs for about an hour at dusk until the tide pushed me off the rock. Nothing huge but it was alot of fun.
The wonderbread eelpunt swimmer has been good to me when there is a good chop on the water. I always seem to hook up on this plug when it digs in just under the crest of a wave.
The jointed R.M. Smith swimmer is just a fish catcher. Seems to always get me a fish when nothing else willl and the blurple 2 oz. swimmer was good to me everytime there were fish around this spring. This plug has changed my opinion of metal lips at night and it's always in my bag on a dark evening.
The yellow/red head Mac Pikie has also been a good choice for me the past two summers. It's accounted for more than a few 20#ers on those single fish summer nights.

Cool pic I came across of some RM Smith plugs-
Never fished his metal lips, do they swim as good as they look?

Future Favorites:
I picked these up this year but they have yet to make it into my rotation.
Picked up the SA needle at MSBA. I haven't found a floater needle that I like yet. Hopefully this will be it.
AH Swimmer: Never got it into the rotation but it did get a test swim and it swims nice. Should be a top producer next season.
Gibbs Bottle: Found a stash of these that I believe are before they went down hill. I keep hearing how effective bottle plugs are so I hope this one will show me the way.

plug bug again ...
Ugghhh ... you guys are killing me, as I made the decision a few weeks ago not to add many plugs to my collection this winter ... as I cannot use all the ones that I have now ... but my philosophy just went out the window now that I have seen this thread ... started thinking about plugs that are not in my collection, or a few that need to be added to and now I have the plug bug again ... my decision for a little constraint has gone bye bye ...
