bluefish still around

Just to keep everyone up to date, and it may be that not to many of you are into catching Bluefish, but they are still coming in on the south side at dusk. Baitcaster went on Sunday and we both went last night with a friend of ours and between the 2 of them they got 40 + blues averaging 6-12 lbs. No bass seemed to be mixed in last night, I think a lot of the bass that were around have moved off until those blues move into deeper water. You can get these fish on the flats at Cotuit or Oregon Beach, generally you want to fish it at dusk on the incoming tide for best results. I did not fish yesterday, just ran the video camera, and got some great shots. We will be going again this evening and see how the fishing is, so we will let ya know.

Pretty much all they have been using are Roberts Rangers, orange and white, chartrues, and old atoms poppers, lime green, florecent yellow and hot pink. We went down again last night, but the fishing wasn't as good, had 2 people out with us, and got a total of 8 fish landed, had other chasers, then right as the sun started to go down it shut right off, so don't know what was up with that, maybe there lips were sore, tehe!!!!! We will keep ya posted, maybe going out today to do some local fishing and see how it is, I have heard they are pickup up some fish in the back river, neponset, walloston beach, and the hummocks rocks, so we will see.
