Nope---I'm terminally right handed.

Not me , But my son can use both. He's seven. And the other day he asked, " dad, can I have my own rod". So, because he's a southpaw,
I asked him if my reels felt comfortable, he said yes. Then I switched the handle to the other side, and he said that was better. But he uses both.

Be encouraging, not discouraging

Left-handed, I cast like a girl. No offense, but you know what I mean.

He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself.

I'm left handed weird thing is - I'm much better at using the mouse with my right hand than my left.
I can cast righty - at about 75%....
My fly reel is on the right side - my spin reel is on the left - both feel comfortable the way they are but not the other way...
