I think Steve Grogan said it best last night on TV,
LT thought he was going to the SB in him own mind,When they lost the game he could not think stright.

As for the "afterwards dance" Grogan also stated the the Patriots did nothing more then any other team and "when your the top dog " you can do a little trash talking!

I can't help but agree that the Pats' should have shown a little more class and not danced on the 50. This team and Belichick are known for their class and being above most of that ridiculous $#!+... I think that's classless... you don't see Brady out there doing that... know why? He's the Classiest guy in professional sports. They should all follow his lead. The public as a whole appreciates that.

I agree with that too Strike King... Definately. Everything has to be so PC or else the whole world explodes

When I say that... I mean that all they did was stoop to the level of of SD... no different than that guy (patterson was it?) saying that they'd only need 1 point to beat the Pats. This stuff should be left behind in Pop Warner. Bunch of oversized, overpaid babies out there

BUT... I do agree that the media focus, in all aspects, is severly skewed!

Celebration is part of Football. You WIN, you Celebrate..They all do it. So why is it such a big deal if the Pats do it? They fight hard for all their wins,,Sooo..let them celebrate. It's not like they were taunting a particular player. They were dancing on the 50. What if it was a home game and they did that?? No biggie right?? It's football...very competitive TEAM sport........So grow up whiners or don't watch it...Bring on the celebrations.

Also, I think they should let players do their end zone dances..It really added entertainment to the game. I miss Chad Johnson's pre-staged dances...I've heard a lot of players on opposing teams thought it was pretty funny too... F$#@ class..This is football,,,a sport where they try to knock each others heads off.This is not Tennis guys..

They're whiners because they couldn't get the job done and knock off the champs. The Pats do their celebrating once the game has been won, what is wrong with that? They all do it. The freakin Chargers were talking smack all during the game including LT. And after the Game Rivers pretty much called Hobbs the worst CB in the game. How did they expect the Pats to react after putting up with their crap, and their crap from last year when they beat the snot out of us in our house. They are poor sport sore losers.

And no..They didn't stoop to their level, the Pats kept their mouth shut all week b4 the game..Unlike the crap the Bolts talked...Also, they are still keeping their mouths shut after the win..Unlike the Bolts are doing. All they did was celebrate after a big win...Suppose you would have rather they walked off the field with no reaction at all to beating the BEST team in the NFL....NOT!!!

The image that Thomlinson projected before the game was 180 degrees from the after. Shame. But the SuperBowl is for winners not whiners. That was a great game, maybe the game of the year. SD was outplayed. Period. Whining that you were made fun of later is just lame.
