Ice is Nice

Winter has me bored out of me mind so me and some buds headed to a 'hidden" pond in Plymouth for some ice action. What a day not too cold, and fish were biting all day. Cooked up a few dogs for lunch, and enjoyed multiple libations. A few pics of some medium size bass and some pickerel.

SMELTS are in too, a source I know did real well last night and today. So guess where I'm going this week after work !!!!

Was on the ice all day Saturday from sun up to sun down. Awesome day though my luck wasn't as good as the two guys I fished with. A mix of Trout, bass, perch. Great food and relaxation.

Stiffy and his crew of jiigers did well on monster perch and pickerel with a few bass thrown in for good measure.

Why even try.........

Saturday and Sunday were as good as it gets on the ice. I didn't fish but skated around many many traps, there was one big bass taken, but mostly perch. Fishing was only have the show, there was tons of entertainment with the motorcycles and atv crusing around.
