Question Cow Conditions

What key conditions do you look for when targeting large?
For me, its new moon, slack high tide or calm surf, large baitfish in the area, night time, beginning of June or mid- October, rocks or inlet.

I've gotten a number of big fish, at night, just before dead low. Moving current in the RI rocks.

Be encouraging, not discouraging

All depends on where it's at. Favorite is rocky coast with good current, wind, and big waves. Rough water produces.

That changes almost weekly... Spring time.... enough wind and surf to obscure the vision of the bass, near a herring run or at least in a river that contains one or ten . Toss Dannys, pecils, pikies.. colors vary with light conditions.

June.. concentrate on places that concentrate bass... points or inlets... nighttime moderate surf sw or nw wind.. quarter moon... eels baby... Dannys at dawn and dusk.

oops gotta run
