Sea Hunt vs. Triumph

17' - Pro's / Cons with each model? I'm looking for feedback for both lines, probably going to pull the trigger on one or the other this week (pending a sea trial).

The Triumph has a 60HP Suzuki 4 stroke, dealer says it will do 50MPH (I just can't believe it will actually go that fast). A bit more expensive, but comes with a warrantee.

The Sea Hunt has a 90 HP Johnson 2 stroke and is a bit older and less expensive.

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

-Rich

My goal in life is to be the kind of man my dog thinks I am.

Yea 50MPH is highly unlikely. I've heard that BS before.

I can't help with the triumph, but my buddy almost went for a sea hunt and he said it was well built. He's still hanging on to his old Wellcraft.

There are some good threads on hulltruth. Do a search there.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
