South Cape beach / Vineyard sound

Anyone know whats going on down there ?
Just got a call from a co worker who has a house down there,
he says there are atleast 6 draggers / netters working the area close to shore!
He's been down there for years and says he's hever seen them there this close to shore before!

Ronnie,

I heard that the squid were in close to Waqouit bay, went down last week and the trawlers were all ready there. By the time the boat goes in the water this week I am betting they'll have fished them out.

I was down off of popponesset and got about 100 or so squid in 2 or so hours. By next weekend they should be fully in and we should be able to get 500 pounds in a day.

Are the squid boats within 3 miles of shore? If so, lets complain.

I was down at WHOI fishing Tautog and saw some squid boats come in on Saturday.
