Couple of rods
I am getting rid of a couple of rods that won't get used by me for quite a while. (I bought 2 british rods over the winter)
1st rod is an AllStar 1088 (spinning) I had Mike at M&D's wrap this for me about 3 years ago. Sweet stick in great shape. Approx 25" to CL of reel seat. $150 pick up only
2nd rod is a Lami fiberglas mooching blank. This was wrapped for me about 8 years ago by a guy in Weymouth. Rod is 9' long (conventional). Fuji guides. I used this to throw everything from 2 oz crippled herring to live herring. Lami rates the blank at like 1-3 but that is wrong. I've thrown 4 & 5 ozs and a big chunk without any feelings of being undergunned. It was cut back from the tip when built. Not sure of tip size but it is big. Good cheap rod for someone looking to try conventional. $60 pick up only (SOLD)

What are the details on the All Star. I'm not too experienced with model #'s. I may be very interested. Thanks

1088 but I believe they are actually 8' 10" when they are built. All components are Fuji. (I think they are hardaloys) I could measure it but never have. Reel seat is somewhere around 25" to CL. AllStar rates the rod 1-4. It handles 4 just fine and would probably handle a little more without any wories.

As I stated earlier, I would keep this stick but recently came into posession of a zziplex bass marine. The zzipy will get all the use where I would use the 1088 so it would just hang in the rafters. Kind of a shame to see a stick like this one just sit there.

Actually there was a PM from earlier today from another board member. I replied to his PM, but haven't heard back from him yet.
1088 is sold
