Taking apart a bogogrip

Have you done this? I lost the directions and don't see a clear way to take this apart. I have got some sand in there and can't flush it out. What is the first step?

Pretty tough to take apart and put together without the skematic, too many springs, i hate springs.

PM me with your addresses and i'll mail you out a copy of the instuctions. You'll also need that little assembly rod tool that came with it.

Ooooooooh yeah....I remember a rod that came with it. I have a couple of bogas let me look around some more, it it doubtful I threw that out. A piece of paper I might toss, but a tool...never.

A "tool" might be a rather generous description of that piece of metal. You might have thrown it out not realizing what it is.

Macojoe, Gary Aldridge is the contact at Eastaboga. He's just one guy, so sometimes he's not around. I've never tried to email him, but usually a phone call gets returned within a day or so.

One more word of advice about taking apart a boga grip....be careful of the springs when you do this...they can "spring" out and fly across the room and land in a parallel universe never to be found again.
