I need a little help for a sick friend......

My fishing buddy and I have been going to MV the first week of June for the past 6 years. We bring a boat over and fish from shore and water. This year things are different. 6 weeks ago he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He was a 44 year old very healthy individual until this. Now he looks like an 80 year old fragile man. He is having treatment and trying to fight this terrible thing. My friends and I are taking him to MV this weekend on our annual trip, Our thoughts are if you have to go you might as well do the things you love with the time you got left and he loves MV. It is tuff for us to see him like this but we all feel it would do him more harm to sit home while he knew we were at MV. I don't believe in asking anyone for specific information and never had before, but with my friends health we can't do the typical 16 hour fishing day we always did. So I am asking for my sick friend if anyone who has any recent information about MV boat or shore could please send me a PM it would be greatly appreciated. I will not spread any info given! One year we ran into Sandman and his family in Edgartown catching squid, he can confirm how crazy my friend was. Thanks in advance for any info given.

Ragfly - best wishes to your friend for a strong recovery and a good MV trip

I know nothing by way of reports other than to say the island should be hopping right about now & good luck

T & Ps sent Ragfly. Try and show him a good time on the Vinyard. Good friends and the salt will hopefully do him a world of justice.
