Back on the fish.

Well we went to a different area than we have been fishing recently which produced last year. One other boat there; no foolishness of crowding and the general stupidness of fleet style fishing. Lines in before the gray light and we were on within minutes. 20 minutes later and we boat a nice 55" fish.
Get back in the game after cleaning up the deck and BANG! Another strike another fish on. Same class fish and to the ice box he goes. This pattern goes on for maybe two hours. We caught 5 or 6 more all tagged and released before we started to mess around with different ideas and new things. We tried a protoype lure that SUCKED!!! We tried a different bar scheme that got us a rat tuna. We liked the performance of the new stinger we came up with and learned a few things about certain spreadsand speeds. Overall a good day and it was great to be back on the water without pain in my foot.
Remember gaffs are for fish to be stuck with not humans. I learned the hard way a few weeks ago. The foot is healing nicely. Go get 'em.

Nice day out there kid.

Matt - you are "in the zone" my man, sounds like yet another great day out there. In the next week or two I'll be heading down to Chatham and heading out east with my cousin, I'll drop you a PM beforehand.
