Well, striper show up today. He'd been hiding in the crawlspace area of the cellar, scared silly. Acts like he'd been abused, cowering and growling.. But home safe. I think that it was kids. Tracked them in the woods behind the house. And I have a 16 YO working the crowd to see who's been breaking in homes. When I get names, then I'll visit the Police. If it's who I think, they've been setting fires in the woods and the PD and FD are dying to get their hands on them. All cats are accounted for, whew!

Good for you Fred and Striper ..... good follow up and approach as well.

Sorry for your troubles.... once it happens it continues to be unsettling for a long time. Go with a relatively inexpensive alarm for major entries that calls your other home and cell.

Mike

Good health and family

Thanks guys, for the good thoughts. It's unnerving to come home and someone's gone through your things, really unnerving if they were careful like they were doing you a favor. Only makes me think it was someone that I know.
ChrisL, that was a horrific break in. I don't know if I would be strong enough to bear that kind of pain.

unbelievable . beyond words . I wish they would put them in the general population just for a few minutes or if needed hours .
anyway it goes having your house/personal space broken into is horrible .

Sorry to hear Fred. You are far too nice a guy for that crap. I would not worry. I'll bet it was some wayward fisherman trying to get some mojo from the JaqueCave!
