Question CG HOUSE BAIT

Does anyone know any good baits that will work well now at the coast gaurd house in narragansett or near there (the beach to the left of it)?????
My local tackle shop sells frozen mackeral and frozen herring I think, also frozen squid, clam bellies and sea worms....
Not the widest selection, but are any of the above in any way productive in the mentioned area??

diet coke! cummon ya wimp, hehe just kidding. i dont fish that area so i really dont know, squid isnt normally a good bait by my standards. i dont like anything frozen either. fresh is good frozen bad. i think seaworms would be best because first their alive and first stripers and tuns of other fish love em,(flounder, cod, pollack, and other fish that like to eat)
p.s. clams can be even better for stripers especially if they arent frozen, are they still there around where you are. rhode island is it? there gone in boston, as long as nobody else can convince me otherwise.

I also heard the seaworms weren't productive on bigger bass and only caught schoolies (occasionally a big one) Whats the truth here?

How do I rig these worms, and if there are multiple species at the coast gaurd house, Is there a "universal" rig that'll be best for em' all??

BTW Mountain Dew beats any kind of Coke...

woops, yeah and plugs rule!!!!!!!!!!!! ive caught 30inches up on sandworms and im sure theres been some really big fish caught with them, where i fish i norm, ally hear about fish in 30 pound range on worms. try a big gob of worms rather than one, might keep away small fish but i think they work the same. a hunk of clam works really good too. fishfinder rig works for basically every type of cut bait and worms. gamagatsu octopus style hook with the turned back eye. mountain dew is number one, vanilla coke a close second.

Well, I'm gonna use my Spinfisher 5500SS for artificials, but now since my new boat combo (Penn International 975 with 20# big game green and Penn Power stick plus 7' 12-30# M) I don't want that thing just collecting dust, maybe thought it was a good idea to let it sit with bait just in case....Am I wrong??
Because If I am I wont carrry it with me, kinda heavy.....

I got my spinfisher and ugly stik tiger with a shimano kangaroo bag, I am very comfortable traveling from the coast gaurd house down to the end of the beach, not a huge stretch of land, but seemed to be where the birds were moving (back and forth throughout the day)

As for the artificials, what do you think works best?? The wildeye shads I hear are productive there,m any certain colors and sizes?? As for them plugs, I have these small Atom blue/white Striper Swipers with 2 sets of treble hooks and a bucktail in the back hooks, will these work?? Also got an Orange/Yellow Atom popper, which colors most productive there?

Are you guys kidding? I was raised on coke and sprite (Have a mouthfull of cavities to prove it) and I'd sooner take a drink from the outflow at the sewage treatment plant than a can of that mountain dew...as for Vanilla coke, that lasted about as long as O.K. soda. (If you remember it)

Well, bottoms up!
