Tough Night Fishing.
Went out friday and saturday night on the kayak with a dozen eels NOTHING. Saturday night it was loaded with bait about a inch long. Big bass and blues screaming threw the bait chomping away all around my kayak couldnt get one to touch my eel very frustrating night. What do you when that happens, maybe if I had my fly rod but even then i dont have small enough flies to match the bait they were focused on maybe freshwater flies I dont no any suggestions.

I'd probably try looking around for a small fly then fishing it on a teaser rig if you don't have a fly rod.

Try throwing out some Diamond jigs or Crippled Herrings if the bait was that small.

I would have tied on a topwater and make some noise with it, the fish were already excited.
