Two one piece loomis fly rods and one GLX
Picked these up last winter. Used each a few times this year and now I am trying to move a lot of the under utilized parts of my arsenal.
G loomis Crosscurrent Pro 1 rods. One 10 wt. One 9 wt. Both 8'10" Beautiful rods. Very light do to the lack of ferrels. Light used, responsibly cared for and unconditionally guarenteed by Loomis.
$225 each, pick up only.
Also Loomis Crosscurrent GLX 9' 8 wt. Four peice top of the line Loomis rod. Used at the bgining of the season. Can be seen in my mouth in my avatar picture with the biggest striper I ever caught on a fly. Spent most of the rest of the season in a tube while I threw larger weight rods. The heavier lines seem to suit me better so now I am trying to get it into the hands of someone who will fish it. $425 shipped. Less if picked up.
Can meet around Boston and points North.
Pictures can be taken and sent if needed.
Many thanks, Bob

They're gonna keep callin' us "cutters." To them, it's just a dirty word.
To me, it's just somethin' else I never got a chance to be.

Hey Bob,
I remember you from last years swap. How've you been? I've got a Cortland CL 9 ft 9/10 wt and a Loomis GL3 9ft 9wt. Interested in any sort of trade? It's always nice to switch up gear.

I have strating cycling so I am selling gear to get cash to buy a different kind of gear.

I have not measured it. I thought the spec was 8'10". If 9' is right then 9' it is. The only incedent the rod has been subject to is gross lack of use. If you want to check it out, try it out, etc. let me know.

However, I've been putting some money in to modding the GTI!
Haven't touched my road bike in over 2 months!

Gordon I am happy the GTI is getting the attention she deserves!
Maybe some sort of partial trade flyrod/cycling gear....

Prices reduced
I have expanded the scope of my offerings as per Gordon's suggestions and have cut the prices.

The rods are supposed to be 8' 10" if they are recent models. When they first came out they were 9' long, but Loomis shortened all one piece rods (fly or otherwise) to make them shippable, without costing $100. At 8'10" you can still ship them and not pay the frightening freight charge.
If you can live with a 1 piece fly rod, this is one of the best sticks around, no matter how many pieces and no matter what the cost.

That sums up how I feel about them too.
Prices lowered on the one piece rods to $175 each picked up.
8 wt. is SOLD
