ok,if I were to take my sluggos for a swim some night in warwick, tonight if I can sneak out, what kind of spot should
I try? I got a park at the end of my street with a little inlet,
some little brooks emptying into the bay near a lighthouse,
or a rock wall up near Providence.
??? do any of these sound good , or what's better?

So, Bill you are in the right area but wrong time of year. little late to be looking for Stripers that far North.
Next Spring you will be in the right place, and at the right time.

No boat, back in the suds.

so I'll keep driving south to fish.Seems like everyone was waiting for the bay to cool down all summer. you guys got me thinking though, there are a lot of places to poke around right close by.

I borrowed some hodgman waders and went down to try them out an hour ago.I threw a white pencil popper on my way out to the point.First cast, I was just thinking to myself this plug is splashing just right it sounds perfect,it took off. A blue, 30" I thought he'd be about 9 lbs but he weighed in at 7. My first cast I always do gently in case of a tangle so he was probably 20 feet from shore.I eat blues - think what you will
Cant tell my girlfriend, she thinks I went home and said goodnight
