Pulled the boat today--I'm sad!

It's a sad day because the boat came out of the water today. It was a great season. I'm not sure how I'm going to make it until next year...

RI Jim- when are you pulling your boat? I saw you were still in the water...

In order to put a smile on my face I've attached my 2 favorite photos of the year. My wife with a fish that dwarfs her and one from the best day of the year.
Anyone else care to share a favorite photo to help put a smile on my face?

I trailer my boat and haven't put her away yet. I hope to get out this monday. I always like to end the season with a few trips down south, either launching in Narr Bay or down in CT in the Thames (under rte 95).

Nice pics!

One of those was taken on a live pogie the other on a fresh chunk.

Both in June. June was an unreal month in RI.

The weather pattern has certainly been frustrating for those of us who have to work during the week! Calmer days have been weekdays of late and the wind seems to blow 20+ kts all weekend!

I hope you can get out next weekend. I'll be at the Michigan State vs. Penn State football game.

jk, I'll agree that putting the boat away for the season is one tough thing to do. I've been extending my season the past 2 years by groundfishing out up this way/Northern MA and braving the cold. I'm going to be going out all winter this winter and see what I can get while I'm still relatively young.
