Weekend Plans??
Whats up for the weekend?
I'm having some serious internal turmoil over this post. For the first time in a long time I have next zero chance and less opportunity to go fishing. As someone that hasn't hung up the gear yet i also haven't fished in weeks. Kinda thunk I'd be smarter than that
But I am going to see some good CSA guys this weekend at their annual soiree. So I can talk about fishing, I suppose...
So what's up for the weekend?

Birthday weekend blowout
Headed out for a Christmas Party (with the department) on an Oddyssey cruise this evening. Boston Harbour will be cold, but pretty.
Tomorrow, getting some Christmas pictures done of my son, then headed to the Academica in Fall River for BIFE (fried eggie, hot peppery, garlicy, olivey, greasy, steaky goodness) and to drink myself to oblivion with bad wine and even worse brandy.
Sunday... GO PATS! even though i think it will be a blowout with the steelers on top.

Saturday, eyen appt. and pick out new spectacles, Sunday, if ponds aren't stiff, trouting with Numby or trip to M&D's for supplies. Evenings turning, the tools are sharp ( Thanks Numby) and the lathe warmed up and oiled.
|
Why even try.........

Besides its either this or a Christmas Get-together with my Wife's Mother's side of the family.....we're still 50 degrees warmer than what it would take for me to cancel

It's not the bait

Saturday-kill me now- shopping with wife at the West Farms Mall in West Hartford.
Sunday- Annual Ct Surfcasters Holiday Party. Glad to know John R. is going to be there. Kids expect to win some of the raffle prizes again this year. My strategy--(we have to have plans and a strategy) is to focus on the schoolie bucket prizes instead of the super cow prizes. Odds are better with the buckets and kids get more stuff to split up.

Snaring mice? If your planning on a sunday dinner, road kill might be better, and more filling. There should be plenty of deer crossing roads this time of year.
