Yes I did it took three times to fix it, for some reason they just did not want to listen to me?
The turnaround was good, but when it was time to replace it I went with Lowrance.

I had to send back a fishfinder on my old boat, a 22 footer. Great customer service, they stuck with it and even sent me back a whole new transducer section, which wasn't past of the original problem.

However, when I went with the new boat I got a furuno, because even though I liked Garmin stuff (I also had a GPS), it's a pain in the arse when your stuff is down, even if the company responds fast.

Bottom line I had good customer service with them, and hopefully they will continue that level of service.

Wow I love Garmin!! They have been very good to me!

And knowing that is a problem with that model and say they know and not do anything, I don't blame you.

I've owned Garmin products over the last ten years. The gps has been great. The fishfinder so so. This is the first screen issue I've heard of.
The hummingbird side scan is suppose to be the latest and greatest in FF.
