West Marine LED Trailer Light recall

Just got a notice from West stating that they have had numerous issues with their LED trailer lights intermittently failing. If you have purchased them in the past year you can go to West to arrange for replacement or a full refund.
Mine failed the first time the got wet.

Funny, I got a recall notice from West on a seacock I installed last season.

Its a royal pain to change, but the company that makes it says its not up to standards. I don't want to find out why (the hard way), so i guess i gotta change it.

Just more examples of products made overseas (China) for the US market.

Yeah, I got the re-call a couple months ago. I returned them, and now I'm getting LEDS from Hella. They just came out for boat trailers, and Boat US can special order them. Didn't get what they cost yet, but sounds like it would be worth it. Check out Hella website!
