More Not Lure Wood
OK, here is what Shannon and I have been working on.
The ornaments are made from Coolibah that comes from Australia, Shannon made all the ornaments and she hand carved the birds from Tagua nut. There is no way I could ever do anything thing that small with detail. We have always bought ornaments for the family each year, this year we made them. Shannon also used a wood burner to add our T,S - logo and 2007 on the bottoms of each one.
Then there are the pens and magnifiers for the rest of the family.
No new lures, as this has kept us really busy.
Hope you like em.

Beautiful work! The ornaments are awesome!! So's the pens. Gonna have to try some of that. All I've every turned are 1 top, 8 endtable legs and maybe 500 plugs.

thanks all,
We would try paint as well, but when you spend $40.00 on a piece of Australian wood that is 2.5x2.5x16 inches long, it kind of makes me cringe at the thought.
Holidays are one now, so it is time to get back to plugs. Playing with all these exotic woods lately has given me a few ideas.

Everything Shannon and I make is free hand, we have a duplicator, but after two years, it is still sealed in the box. We seem to have more fun without it, but again, we don't do large runs of anything.
