looks like an off day.that pier is usually pretty crowded during the day. one of the fishiest places on the eastcoast

Cool pics. I fished off that jetty back in the late 80's while on a family vacation. Caught a couple bluefish too.

Iwas down there a few years back and the Snook were there. I was not fishing but was watching the locals . They walk down the pier with their pushcarts complete with rodholders coolers , bait trays, tackle, chairs you name it and its on there. Also saw some nice Snook pulled over the rail.

This is why FLA can justify their saltwater license, whereas in massachusetts, Duval would spend the money on promoting Obama and get a rod holder for his caddy.

exactly! there are trashcans at every ramp, most have running water to rinse off boats.. FL puts that money right back into the fisheries..
i love that inlet- live shrimp are killer.. snook were not there when i was there last march

Freshly cast netted finger mullet
Livelined into reds and snooks always worked for me!!!!
on the G Side, tha's gulfside ~yo  !
From the Sanibel Causeway to Tiger Tail Beach,
Livelined Finger mullet for snook/reds, #1
Livelined Cut Whole Pinfish for snook/reds, #2
Zara or AH jr mullet, chartreuse, yellow Spooks, worked FL style, for reds and snook, #3
Rootbeer and Glass live shrimp or DOAs shrimp for Specks, #1 & #4 for snook
Dipnetted bluecrabs livelined on the bottom for bull reds, #1
3/4oz Johnson Sprite gold spoon for tailing reds, #2
Rapala Xrap Walk 13 chartreuse w/ red head for reds, #3
