Get it surveyed prior to closing. Great deal, IF it passes survey. Go down for the survey if you can. Do not use a surveyor recommended by broker/seller.
BTW, for a college kid......who's your bank?????I think you are more horse trader than student!
End of hijack.....

Hmmm... not sure what a surveyor does?? Is that like the same thing as taking a car to pass inspection? Also... I work 45 hours a week during the summer so my goodies are bought by me After these purchases that bank you mentioned is near nonexistant. mom and dad want nothing to do with my addiction.... well, i lied just my dad

I saw the Super Surf factory rods yesterday at M&Ds. They are just about perfect as is. The only thing I would personally have done differently on a custom is having the reel seat nut lock down instead of up. Other than that---best factory rod I've ever seen--reel seat placement, guide size, spacing, double wrapped cork tape foregrip, everything right on. At least for me.
I haven't seen the conventional models yet, but there is no way I'd spend the extra dough for a custom spinning rod. Not even to get my own colors. I've never seen a production rod laid out so perfectly for me.

Eelskins
Some plugs
New Waders and if I can lose 30 more #s by the summer, I might, just might, maybe, perhaps - get a wet suit

I need a lot this year. Surf rod for sure but I'm not sure what make yet. Any ideas? I also need a good spinning reel for slinging eels which I want to try out in earnest this year. Plugs, plugs and more plugs from some of the guys on here. I remember putting an order in for a Wonder bread last year but never heard back!? I would love one of those big time! Offer still stands for a boat ride on the bay Big Fish!! The boat is a whole other topic but I need to get some stuff done on her as well. I have to get my shop in order big time !

I have no idea what I am going to buy yet. I'll just go to the MSBA and Providence shows with an open mind and an open wallet. I'm doing 70% of my fishing from the boat, so I can't justify the Van Staal or ZeeBass. I need to get a couple of Abu's and Penn's serviced soon and maybe will pick up another Lami to use in the surf. I was looking into getting a kayak for an area I fish a lot, and will definitely be picking up a bunch of new plugs.

I'm seriously thinking about getting a kayak this year, not to fish from exclusively, but also to "aid" in surfcasting.
either way, I'm gonna need more plugs and maybe some new waders, I'm considering going to stocking foot with wading boots, the boot foot waders in my shoe size don't seem to fit me too well...time to lose weight maybe!

Other than a new plug bag for the nights I throw wood and plastic...
All I need is...
A new spool of 80lb leader material
1 box of 100 6/0 hooks
1 pack of 100 150lb swivels.

The usual:
Box of 100 6/0 octopus hooks.
Spool of 50# big game for leaders.
50# and 60# power pro.
Already picked up a Simms dry top and backup felt sole waders.
Keep it simple.

this is going to be a bad year for me.
I bought the new Charlton Mako already, looking at the Hobie Revo Kayak, should be here my April, that Super Surf is calling me, the new Lucanus Jigs will be mine, and the new Aquaskinz ultimate cargo bag (s) are sweet!
