How was your Weekend??

So did everyone get out this weekend???

I wound up fishing with Fisherwoman and Baitcaster Thursday and a little on Saturday - always a blast!! Fished same spot on Friday night with about 10-11 fish to 29-30 inches - one double header with one fish about 28" and one 26". They were pulling against each other so much, I thought it was one smaller fish <img src="/Images/biggrin.gif"><!--e7-->

Saturday morning fished the Canal for a couple hours with nothing to show for it ('course everyone else I saw was blanked as well)...

Got out Sunday on a charter trip with a partner in crime from work. A fishing bachelor party, two boats, working Billingsgate in Cape Cod Bay... Just 2 hits and no fish for the first 4 hours and ended up with everyone getting at least a couple by the end of the charter... One of the younger, soon to be relatives of the doomed got a double header of 5# bass on an umbrella rig. Not bad for the kids first fish(es)...

Finnished building my 8' G-Loomis 965 for this weekends Tri-State Tourney down the Cape!!! Can't wait to try it out...

Had to go away on Saturday morning, but was able to get out Friday night and landed a Northeast grand slam at the West Haven sandbar in CT. One bass, a few blues, and about a dozen weaks up to 10 lbs. Too bad I had to go away though, because I heard it was good Saturday and Sunday as well.
