Outer Banks Commercial Fishing

This was just sent by a friend of mine. Really dampens the spirit of any hook and line fisherman..............

Unfortunately NC has probably the worst commercial fishing laws in the country. Pretty much anything goes here. It is pretty sad to watch this video as there are some very large fish caught.

If you would like to voice your disapproval contact this Senator, as he is directly responsible and known to be in the back pocket of commercial fishermen.

Cool

Like it or not thats a drop in the bucket to what recreational fishermen take that is not detailed in any way shape or form as that is. 3 days. Go back a few years to the canal in late May when the bass were on the herring hard and everyone was catching. No problem matching that in numbers.

Was that video pretty? No but reality should take precidence here.

Just a mere fraction of the total take from 3 days along the coasts of Mass, RI, NY, NJ in season by recreationals.

Let's keep things in perspective.

Why even try.........
