Red River

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080227/...polluted_river

Hey lets rape the earth some more. Who cares if all the water turns to acid and it affects people all over the world.
WTH is wrong with these people.

Wow! So after the threat ends these folks still are drinking from the same water supplies??? That can't be good for them long term? People better wake up...its sounds as if its already too late there! Its a shame!

Angry their industrial age

unfortunately because of the mechanization of their country
they haven't learned anything from our mistakes....
as we had one of our rivers on fire here in America... before.... not that long ago.

the red algae could be harvested and processed into fuel ....in the meantime...

but the Chinese Government isn't exactly what you'd call cooperative
when it comes to outside interference with their countries affairs

where the Chinese excel is in self sufficiency and farming ...
their terraced hill gardens are the best on the planet...

well yeah BF

but china's a huge country like the USA is

so thats like saying someone taken a piss in the Sacramento river

is gonna instantly pollute Chesapeake bay... not that it isn't also suffering from farm runoff... it all boils down to profiteering and whether doing it organically as apposed to doing it artificially...there
with fertilization...such a joke...

but back to china

in the interior of the country
they still don't have electricity (never have)
and they have some poor Yak walkin in Circles to pull
a rotor that brings water up the hill... with mechanical wood
contraptions...

only on a pure biological scale.....down to the microbial level
will we solve the monstrous problem of pollution..

they (the chinese) are already kickin the worlds ass when it comes to raising BEE's not to jump topics .... and they can do it with microbial pollution solutions too ... but it has to be a world wide effort of collaboration and satellite internet connections will have a great part in that endeavor.

The Japanese just launched a satellite (this week) thats gonna ROCK the world for internet connections thats ten times as fast as anything in the USA or Europe ....... for the price.

the chesapeake is in pretty bad shape. Granted in may not flow red, but some of the rivers in its watershed flow sewage brown. The Anacostia being one of those.
