looking for material

Looking for scrap or drop pieces of steel that can be welded to make mounting brackets for kicker motor controls. RJinHull has the ideas, parts and minimum equipment to get it done. (welder, drill, hack saw etc.) I cant help him from here but any of you guys around Hull Ma. know where to go?

welding shop

there used to be a welder on the street between a st and strawberry hill. it was always a crap shot as to weather he was there or not but we did a couple of small jobs for me and gave me some scrap stock to try and make jigs with.

1/8"x10"x12" would be perfect for the job. better if bent 90* on the 10" side 6" from end and drilled and painted to match boat. but he's flexible. just not familiar with the areas for his new needs.

Both, I live in Phx, Brother lives in Hull. I visit at least once a year (late may, early june for sure) Hes getting the boat ready for my upcoming visit.
Hes trying to dash mount motor controls for the kicker. Hes just out of the loop for material.
