Yard work, real work, kids, and Cap Grille w/wife on Sat. Night.
One more week of balls to the walls work, then time to fish.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Slow work due to this economy, pending sale of my Kayak and some family confusion has my annual trip to meet the Bluefish (something like 13 of the last 17 years) to MV cancelled. (:<)

Fortunately, we have a back up plan. (:>)

The camper is almost loaded for Wendy and I to head up Race Point this evening and pahty with the usual suspects from the MBBA crew in the lower lot.

Sat 9:30 AM = MBBA Race Point Beach Conservation Project and post BBQ--a good time for anyone and children that has never been.

Saturday mid day we have the MBBA convoy heading down to Nauset where the Beach Manager is kind enough to let MBBA stay on the beach overnight. On the way I will hook up with a potential buyer and hopefully get the Yak sold...(Woohooo...bring on the new Skiff).

Sunday 9:30 am = MBBA Nauset Beach Conservation Project & BBQ--another good time for all you members and your kids, plus be entered in the gas card drawings at Spring Meet. I think this clean up is a bit more intersting this year as we will get out in person and see the new break and all the changes mother nature has done to this beach.

Oh yeah...FISHING..With the SQUID starting to be caught at the Chatham Fish Pier I am thinking I might make the trek across the dunes and try my luck on the inside of Nauset. Never know what might be waiting for me.

Nothing on the fishing front that I am aware of - have my daughter Sydney for the weekend, so it will be focused on trying to have fun with her - maybe a short hike (her in the backpack and me walking up the trail) with short stretches where she will want to be under her own power ... it's fun.

Maybe I can convince TDF to highlight some of his freshwater hotspots we can take her and have her catch a bass or perch or sunny or something fun like that. Although her attention to that will most likely last only a few minutes.

I'm picking up a 44' Beneteau right after work from our sailing club, heading to my house to pick up my wife and some friends and sailing out to catalina for the weekend. We'll sleep in the harbor tonight and then set sail at sunrise tomorrow morning.

Its a 28Nm run and a beautiful island. I can't wait to get out there. I've got my rod with some lures to drag behind the boat though there aren't many fish out here at the moment.

Gaining on the yard. Cut up the broken limbs , raked , spread lime , got the mower going and ship shape for the season , cut it. now just have to spread the Turfbuilder and I should be done (except for once a week cutting) for a while.

Gonna shoot in to Suffolk Downs tonight to put a couple wagers on the Derby. Maybe hit Santarpios for a pizza, a fire-pit sausage and a cold beer on the way to the track.

Tomorrow tons of yard work and then hang with the family.

Sunday relax maybe grill out with my wife and baby.

To the dump(transfer station) and maybe see if I can get a Pike over 10#s. I probably should join that contest at the other place for Pike. And maybe a little trout fishing/fiddlehead picking. I think it will be a few more weeks before I head for the salt.
