Nothing wrong with fishing bunker, Steve. It produces! And they're here, both bunker and bass.

[QUOTE=planter;594051]Perspective is the key............. bit about counting your fish in December are words to remember.
[QUOTE]

Counting fish is for young guys. So is remembering for that matter. If I'm alive, in one piece, and don't need diapers at the end of the season, I'm happy. Fishing is all about doing what you like instead of doing what you should. Once you let that "should" part creep back into it you're in trouble........now what were we talking about?

Had the skiff out once so far. Have tried to do it frpm the sand and rocks on pluggage only. Fished the outer beaches hard, water is good, bait is thick... no fish over 20 inches and those are few and far between, barren. Locally fish to 30 inches no problem but over that forget it.

May have to get the skiff in the water on a regular basis now that I am on vacation. Sh!t, I may have to....ugh....use live eels or bunker!

WTF AM I THINKING??????????????????????????

Got the stink on me bad, real bad. It's so bad I should have gone out this morning in the wee hours but have just lost the drive to do so.

Might as well spend the day with the wife and take her shopping.

I'm so depressed!
Stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember who you are and get out there and find them then show them who is boss .

Stop thinking so much and become one with the bass Flap .

Good health and family

Strange first post. If I were you, I'd throw both the big monster and that little fish back. By the way, welcome.

i wish I lived in a world where 35" fish constituted a slump. Man, i would be hornier than a 2 peckered billy goat if I consistently got fish like that.

now what were we talking about?

Numbskull:

This thread is about the Flaptail thinking that he sucks because he's in a fishing slump.

He doesn't suck. He has no concept what it means to suck. If he wants to find out what it's like to really suck, he should come over to the Falmouth hockey rink any Monday night, and watch me playing old-timer ice hockey.
