Back from the otter Cape

Just got back from 2 weeks at the Cape. I pounded a lot of sand for dismal results at best. If it wasn't for my last trip on the kayak yesterday am and a yellow salty bugger needle, my best catch of the weekend would have been a box turtle I helped cross the road seafely in Welfleet. However, yesterday on the kayak was the best three hours of fishing I have ever had. I was catching 40-42" like catching pumpkinseeeds in a pond. It was a sleigh ride on absolutely every cast. I'll post some pics later. Not the first time a salty plug has saved an outting for me. Thanks Salty!!

I actually started out with the parrot the day before and got into some nice fish. Then a school of blues came by and bye-bye parrot. Ran to Nelson's and grabbed your bannanna.

Why even try.........

Yeah I noticed that after I posted the pics. I was hoping the shot of that guy's arse in the foreground would divert some attention. Steve, it seems there a lot of Box Turtles out that way. I was talking to Fred from Gone Fishing and he said there are quite a few still on the Cape. Told me he already seen 4 this year. Haven't seen one in about 25 years in Western MA. I forgot how cool they were, I should have taken a pic.

Yeah, if Mikey would've taken a pic of the box turtle it would've been my only pic with any Cape wildlife in it for this year. Should've heard him when he came into the driveway...."Ricky...what the F$%^ is this thing???"
Felt good giving some advice to the self-proclaimed "King of the Turtles!"

Oh well...

Speaking of turtles, has anyone seen diamondback terrapins in the estuaries? I've been doing a research project with them here in CT.

Baldwin;

Not a reptilia-ologist by any stretch,
But when I have seen them, it's usually around kettle ponds or similar habitats...

Olive and Banana would be my two top picks followed by parrot. Those things slay.
Hey Salty, you can thank Rappin Mikey for my order, I've heard nothing but good things about your plugs, except from your competition.
