Boat fishing in rough water......
you guys think boat fishing is easy? Look at the size of those swells........
If you dropped a pebble, the ripples would have went 3 miles.

Now imagine you are in a sail boat 120 miles from home. I hate the doldrums days. The ocean is supposed to have wind!

I'm not sure what's making me drool more -- the fish, or the flata$$ calm day out on the water.
|
The worst day fishing is better than the best day working. ...Wait a minute, my work IS fishing. Sweet.

about 10-15 pounds then.
if you want to give the illusion your fish is bigger, then you have to lie and say you are 6' - 8" and 280.

Thanks- your close Paul - 27!
Fish was on a bunker. I love watching the hits on the calm water. The bunker came off the hook when I had the fsih on, I was fighting the fish and suddenly there is a huge splash to the left, another bass was hitting the bunker! I was fishing with Parker23 and he cast out towards the splash while a gull grabbed the bunker. No luck on the other fish though. A few minutes of pure rush!
Slip - doh - your right - first person to catch that and I had to think about ti for a few minutes.....

Never mind the rough sea you had to contend with. Trying to lift a 27pound fish over the gunwale is a good way to cause some back discomfort. Sliding fish up onto the beach or the rocks is nothing compared to having to lift one up 2 feet out of the water and into a boat.
Jimmy, you are truly a testament to the hardcore boat fishing lifestyle. Oh, and nice fish.

Jimmy, can you can give me a tow over there in my yak Lol. I wanted to head over that way after I got some bunker but it is farther than I wanted to paddle. Had to resort to staying with the schools.
