Too cool Bloo. Question do you do your art on one of those digital sketch pads? My son likes to draw and I had considered getting him one.

No, that was done free-hand GS...I'm still in the process of "researching" a good digi-pad...but I don't want it to be a "mail-order" thing....I wan't some 1st hand experience. I still haven't found a retailer who stocks them so that I could try one before purchasing it...and I definately don't want to play the "buy/return" game. If anyone knows of where I could 'test' one of these digi-sketch-pads, please let me know. . . it would be much appreciated!!
..but more importantly!!

Encourage your son as much as possible, it will increase his imagination & creativity ten-fold. Challenge him with projects to keep him interested. If he's old enough, be honest with your criticism. We know when something sux, we just need people to tell us (in their eyes) - how & why it does. Show him his weak points to polish off his talent. I ALWAYS ENCOURAGE CRITICISM ON MY WORK. I showed Goose my 'donation' drawing in order to get some feedback. I don't know if he thought I was looking for a pat on the back or not, I wasn't!! I was looking for NEGATIVE FEEDBACK!! I want to know how to make things better.
I'd like to thank you all for your comments. They are very much appreciated

yo Bloo - I may have a Wacom Graphire 2 to try out from work - any chance you'll be there Saturday night? I can probably loan one to you for a little bit... to TeSt DrIvE
They are about $100 and the baseline for high quality...

I like The Hostage. It conjurs up the image of a momma bass tangling up your lure on you.

I am loving the feedback -
..ya know, I too liked "Ransom" .. ..but felt there should be another creature in the picture if called that. I think Hostage is more fitting
