Cat Smell/Spray Remover
Sat night our babysitter thought it was ok to let our cat sleep in my son's room. It's not her fault because I never told her but he must have pee'd in there because now it stinks to high heaven. My wife removed everything and cleaned the carpet, bed sheets, and his toys. It still smells. Does anyone have any products they know about that can cut through that smell? My wife wants to rip out the rug! That is something I really don't want to do.

there is nothing worse in this world than the smell of cat piss. I had one go on my jacket a long time ago. Lucky it didn't get punted.

Also make sure that you have checked EVERYWHERE!
I had a cat that decided to mark his territory in my closet.

Sorry but thats funny. Unfortunately, the only sure way
to get rid of it (not mask it) might be to take the carpet out.
Or cut a piece out and replace if possible? Good luck

Petco carries some type of enzyme product that I hear works really well. I do not have a cat, so I haven't tried it, but again, I have heard it works well. You could also call a professional cleaning co. They will clean anything and may have something for that. I know they are good at getting rid of smoke smell after a fire etc. If it is in the carpet, you may be better off cutting a piece out or getting rid of it. I don' think you can ever get that smell out of there completely especially if it gets into the padding and then the wood under it. I have been in that situation before. That is why the only pet I will ever have is a fish.

you think it's Bad
i once watched this great show on Tigers...
i thought they were the coolest animal...of all
then we went to the ZOO .....and the first thing
i wanted to see was the tigers...
STANDING there talkin to the tiger leaning against the fence
it was laying down... then it gets up and as it saunters away
a huge stream of piss shot out and drenched me from head to toe
in about 3 seconds.....and i had to go home instantly.it reeked !!
that was NO FUN is all I 'll say...
