how much does the moon phase effect cod/ground fishing. Im heading out next weekend and figure it might be good with the new moon coming up. I expect bigger tides, and hopefully bigger fish.
The new moon and full moon phase can make holding bottom more difficult due to the stronger currents . . . but it is only one factor . . . only way to know is to go
