Finally,a response!

Thanks John....

Maybe next time with the fish too bro....

This am sucked wind...man I'm tired, but the kiddie rides tomorrow will be a needed change from the green grass and salt water. Can't wait for the teacups.

Was trying to get a pic of JohnR and TonyO holding the cup this AM, but being the modest fellows they are and hoping not to jinx team S-B, they both declined the opportunity. So I simply clicked away whilst experimenting with manual camera settings.

I am in Mike. I will be hitting it hard (as possible with work and family) the next month.

Energy drinks and casual days at work from here on out.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

just looking over the numbers, we need 45's from the surf, about 5 of them will do it the way things stand now - tall order but possibly do-able. i'll be out there looking for mine. hopefully soon. regrouping this week for a big push to the finish.

It was nice meeting Backbeach and Tony O this a.m. and running into JR in total darkness. That was a quirky start to the day.

I feel good about this upcoming 2 weeks in the boat, especially the new moon period. Things are happening out there with fish moving to some local's that I consider for lack of a better term staging areas,or gathering areas, not a ton but they are moving in.

TOTALLY AGREE, Professor!!

seen the types of staging and movements that would indicate
that the NShore is getting ready for an explosion. and why not??

i, for one, doan think that last year was an anomaly of any sort.
i further believe that we should expect/foresee even better feesh and
bigger numbers than last year ~~that is if RI & JZ *hasn't killed all the trophies*

45#'ers???? HAIL NO, i'm thinking in the 50's and 60's me
bruddahs!!! don't tell me it's not doable

cuz if you ain't dreamin' BIG; then you ain't DREAMIN'!!!

NOW, get out there fellow NShorians and

between man and nature shall not be broken."~~ Leo Tolstoy

Right on time too. No need to mention where, but I'm pretty sure I know where you're talking about. Usually after they leave that place they show up in my wheelhouse for a few weeks.

Quick Caption Contest on this thread: http://www.striped-bass.com/Stripert...ad.php?t=51176
We've turned the last corner and need to sprint to the finish to apply any chance of repeating The Striper Cup.

Backbeach took some great shots yesterday morn down the canal (fishing was slow).

Here is the image, we need a caption - from now until tomorrow - Wednesday 5pm, submit captions, favorite caption will win something, Oh I dunno, a plug or something. Winning caption goes up on the front page.

Here is the image:

If I didnt get caught off guard when my drag started screaming and almost fall into the canal this morning... Im sure it would of been in the top 10.....

For the time I did fight it, it was definitely bigger than anything I had ever had on my line before.

BLAH
