I know it's fresh but my son and I are having a blast this year at our local pond. I seem to be dialed in on a spot where these lunkers hang out. Always on the first cast we catch the biggest one 5-6lbs and then work our way down. We went to the pond with 12 shiners and all of them got eaten. My son's speed racer rod was getting quite the workout.

My inlaws have a pond chock full of stunted LMB. My son loves to toss out a bobber with a small shiner under it and watch the fireworks.

try that toad technique that was in this months OTW....It is killer, I've taken bass up to 4 lbs. using it the past couple of weeks.
