Question Custom rod

I am thinking about getting a custom rod and was wondering who in the Plymouth or cape cod area can make them. Thanks Channell99

First person that come to my mind is mikecc from M&D's in Wareham. Small family owned business where is wonderful wife and daughter both help out at the shop.

Right now he is closed during the week and just open weekends for now.

Excellant prices along with excellant work = best combination out there. For a while he wasn't taking orders but I believe he started again.

Best bang for the $ blank wise are the Batson Rainshadows. Those are getting harder to find due to crazy costs of shipping one piece blanks that are 10' or longer. I'm still fond of the older school Lamiglas fiberglass blanks, too.

Talk to mike and he can will put you on the right path.

Now a days lots of the production rods are have solid components and are styled like custom rods. These are imported of course, but offer huge value for the $.
