killed em this am

smelts that is. fished for an hour this morning and got enough for me, my parents and 2 oldtimers i know. they were thick and on the feed. going to try again in the am. i'm gonna go fry some up now

jeff, i'm bored out of my skull. let's splash the boat for tog or haddock next week. anytime you want to come smelting just say the word - dress warm. come up to maine this winter - it's like ice fishing w/ a heater. send me those pix from the last trip - i've got a bunch of pix that need developing. i'll send you something this week

Smelts

Niko, fish4stripers,
I would be out for them Sunday AM if I did have to work.
Will do it Monday AM is reports hold up.

Hey Paul,

Did you pick up anything else with the smelts. I used to have a blast using an ultralight rod, 1/64 oz curlytail. Besides smelt I caught Tommycod, eels, herring, flounder, pollock, sculpins and some as yet unidentified creatures. Never new what you were going to get into.
