Soon anyway.
And
she knows if you've been naughty or nice
Still going thru stuff, went into the print locker for the old Angler's Art, got a
bunch of stuff to clear out at pretty steep discounts from what it was when I was doing the antique fishing and natural history prints and framing.
I've got a lot of framed Dentons from the 1890's in exceptional condition - most were taken directly from the NY Fisheries Game & Forest Commission books and hadn't seen the light of day in decades. Believe me, you won't find many if any in this condition, I know, I collect them and we have them hanging in our home.
I'm going to price them at $125 to clear them out - I originally sold them for $225 plus tax so that's over $100 off original pricing - it's a shame to just have them in a closet gathering dust. The framed ones are also French matted - they look great in a den, living or dining room or kitchen. Mrs Claus would actually like them herself.
If you're not familiar with Denton, google it - the colors are unbelievably accurate considering they were printed over 100 years ago.
Also have a number of Dentons matted only which run from $50 to $90 depending on species (desirability and scarcity). Sorry, no bass or bluefish, I have a few but they're my personal stuff.
Framed I have:
- Weakfish - 1 3/4" blonde walnut burl
- Tautog - 1 3/4" blonde walnut burl
- Butterfish - gold ribbed
- Bonito - 3/4" dark walnut burl
- Atlantic Salmon - 1 3/4" blonde walnut burl
Matted Only:
- Small Mouth Bass - $90
- Lake trout - $60
- Hickory Shad - $60
- Sunfish - $50
- Butterfish - $50
More to come, but that's it for now - tell Mrs Claus you found a deal if you've been good this year.
If you've been naughty, the hell with it, buy your own damned presents like I do
