A trip to the Outer Banks in May with a house on the ocean from my wife's family to us. A family vacation from my parents also. Going to be tough to decide where to take it and when. Some nice cold weather gear for winter steelheading also.

we don't exchange big gifts, just big stockings
we focus mostly on the kids.
But i did get a kayak, it was a birthday/slash christmas gift. (i guess turning 40 is a big to do)
got a sweet Red Sox jacket
100.00 bass pro certificate
red sox hat and glove set. not mittens
khakis for work, socks..
another year of OTW magazine.
but that pales in comparison to see the joy on my 5 yr. olds face.
That was my best gift.
Genuine happiness and gratefulness for every gift he received..
and he made out like a bandit...
My wife did pretty well too, after all she married me.

Nice George. My son's response to seeing Santa's gifts was "Holy Crap!!". Too funny, couldn't even yell at him.

My lovely wife got me a work sharp 3000 tool sharpener. It works very well. Turned a plug with it yesterday right after sharpening my skew chisel and it is so smooth it barely needs sanding.
But most importantly I got to spend time with both sides of the family (and still am) and enjoying that the most.
