Just back from Florida

Well I just got back from Miami. It was crazy down there. We had a hotel on the beac, adn every day the wind was blowin' at 10 knots and above. We got one day of fishing in. My wifes first time fishing in the ocean from a boat. She had a blast , she caught one bonito and lost another. I caught a kingfish , bonito and lost a bonito at the side of the boat. My buddy also caught a kingfish and a bonito. The boat next to us hooked a nice sailfish, man what acrobats!! I was bummed I really wanted to catch a sail or dorado. All in all it was a fun time. So what has the bite been like up here?? Any thing happening in the cape yet? It sure was nive meeting John at the Msba, and I am looking forward to trying the flies I bought that Juls tied.

By the way forgot I went to OUTDOORWORLD aka Basspro. This place is awsome. I also took in the IGFA museum, and I met Tred Barta at the museum.

The museum is a great stop. I particularly liked the exhibits on old fishing tackle and techniques, like from colonial times and earlier.
