Looking for a used bike.
Anyone have a street or mountain bike just collecting dust that you just want to get rid of? I'm just looking for something in at least somewhat usable condition. Looking to try a few udl's this spring that don't feature parking within a reasonable distance.
Thanks,
Luds

Luds.
Get something w/ bigger tires if you will be offroading.
I use one to access some udl's here. make it dark colored so you can stash it in bushes w/o it taking a hike

I agree... the only reason I posted that is because I got one and changed the tires/wheels to city style and put straight bars on it and it was a good and easy pedaling all around bike. But, with the wheel on it the way it is, not so much.

Thanks. I was definitely thinking the same thing as far as the color. I'm going to need to be able to ditch in the woods and hoof it once I run out of road. I was not too concerned about being able to go off road but that could always change.

who knew everyone would be so excited about a girls bike
really though, I'm planning on putting some rod holders on my mountain bike this year and take it to some spots, never got around to doing it last year. I'm also toying with the ideas of towing my kayak with my bike....

Girls bike = Canal Cruiser from what I've read. Good due to waders and that rod placement behind seat on rack makes lifting leg over seat awkward. I have a hard time picturing TDF and others on one though. I thought we were manly men?
