Braid Knots

Just wondering what people are tying for knots with braided line?

All my connections to terminal tackle are five turn Uniknots made with a doubled line.

For my heavier set-ups (bait and metal slingers) I only use braid casting leaders .

For those braid to braid connections I double the running line (20lb or 30lb Sufix) and tie a 5 turn Uniknot over the braid leader (65lb to 100lb) and then another 5 turn uni in the leader backed up tight to the running line knot. Tighten down as much as possible before trimming as close as possible.

Palomar to swivel. Easy to tie. Easy to tie at night, with wet hands and 56 year old eyes, and a flashlight jammed in your teeth. Almost impossible to tie wrong.

Me too.

Uni to uni works too, but Albright is easier to me.

Raider Ronnie:

1. This was not a commercial link.
2. This was not a link to a forum topic

This was a link to a how to tie a knot.
In fact, everyone else out on the Internet that I have found thus far, is referencing the same page. I search s-b.com first, no how to article. I will gladly remove the link if (1) it violates the usage policy of this forum or (2) if someone can provide an alternative link.

That said, I think I know where you're coming from. Thank you for the feedback.
